The West Riding Ensemble, based in Yorkshire, England, is a professional group dedicated to creating exceptional musical experiences. Specialising in string-based chamber music, our performances range from the timeless Classical, Romantic, and 20th-century repertoire to innovative new compositions.

Uniquely, we provide side-by-side mentoring for talented young musicians seeking to explore a career in performance. This apprenticship model - whereby a mentee takes up a guest or even permanent position in the ensemble - allows emerging performers to take part in every facet of crafting a portfolio as a classical musician in today's very challenging environment.

We also provide chamber ensemble accompaniment for choirs and offer musical services for weddings, parties, and corporate functions.
